The Yoga Center of Carmel, located in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea, has been offering Yoga Classes to the community and visitors since 1989. We are located in a light, spacious cottage just a short stroll from the beach. A Registered School of the Yoga Alliance, teaching teachers since 1998, we offer students opportunities to integrate body, mind, and spirit through the practice of Hatha Yoga.

We respect that each individual is unique. We therefore offer a wide variety of styles and professional staff to fit your individual needs and lifestyle. Students learn to reduce stress, develop strength, flexibility, balance and concentration through flowing and sustained asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing), relaxation techniques, and meditation. Kathleen Karachale, Director, and our Certified Yoga Instructors are dedicated practitioners and teachers of the healing benefits of Yoga. We offer daily classes, weekend workshops and teacher training. All levels and ages welcome. You may start these ongoing classes at any time.
