On June 15, 1998, Bethalto Star Service started as a family owned full service gas station. We not only filled up your gas tank, but we also included a window wash, oil check, and tire pressure check. Owner Don Withers brought 18 years of experience to the repair and towing aspect of the business.

It quickly became evident that our customers primarily relied on us for auto repair and towing, so in 2001 we concentrated our effort there and discontinued offering fuel service.

Over the years we have continued to upgrade our services by adding newer tow trucks and the latest diagnostic equipment. We also provide training for our technicians and advanced training for our tow truck drivers.

We pride ourselves in always doing our best to not only keep our customers' vehicles safe, but doing it in the most cost-effective way possible. We never compromise our quality by using sub-standard parts.

Don and his staff treat every customer that trust them for their auto repairs as if they were working on their own family members' vehicles.
