WHO WE ARE:

North Star provides services and supports in the following areas:

Adult Day Services
Services provided Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Day Habilitation:
Adult day services that is designed for adults with a disability who need support services to develop self-sufficiency and optimize personal independence. Available in Waterloo and Waverly, Iowa.

Newel Post Senior Adult Day & Respite Services:
Adult day services to help older adults with age-related disabilities maintain independence and avoid premature nursing home placement, while providing relief for the caregiver. Located on Tiffany Place in Waterloo.

Brain Injury Program:
Day Services Program that helps maintain meaningful, productive, independent lives in the community. Services are tailored to compensate for disability-related decline and aging. Located on Canterbury Court in Waterloo.

Employment Services
Services are provided for individuals with disabilities who want vocational training and support. Supports include: vocational training and contract work. Available in Waterloo and Waverly.

SUPPORTED COMMUNITY LIVING
Services available days, nights, weekdays, weekends

Supported Community Living Services
Offers training, support, and personal assistance so individuals with disabilities can be successful and safe living in their own home or apartment in the community. Currently serving people from 33 counties in Iowa, from offices based in Waterloo, Waverly, Charles City, Marshalltown, Mason City, New Hampton, Vinton, and Toledo.
