A P Broome Landscapes Ltd offer a wide range of professional grounds maintenance, arboricultural and landscape services to commercial and domestic customers.
A P Broome Landscapes Ltd specializes in the grounds maintenance of hazardous installations, we maintain over 17,000 gas and electricity substation sites throughout the UK for various large blue chip compa-
nies. As part of the services we offer our clients, we also provide a nationwide winter planning service (gritting and snow clearance) which can be tailored to accommodate each client’s individual needs, whether it be a reactive service or a preventative service. We have helped our blue chip clients maintain a safe working environment for their staff for several years, including over the severe winters in 2009 and 2010.

AP Broome Landscapes Ltd also provides grounds maintenance servi-
ces to prestigious office building grounds, several Lancashire County Council educational sites, various nursing homes and hotels in the North West, National Trust sites in Cumbria and many more diverse sites throughout the UK.

HISTORY
A P Broome Landscapes Ltd was first established in 1972 by Mr. A P Broome (Snr) as a family run business with a small number of employees maintaining local gardens and nursing home grounds. In those days the business was run from Mr Broome’s own house in Leyland, Preston but the business expanded gradually to incorporate grounds maintenance of National Grid sites in the North West. Mr. A P Broome (Jnr) joined the company in 1983 and after several years of providing an excellent grounds maintenance service on National Grid’s gas sites, A P Broome Landscapes Ltd began to outgrow their original depot so the owners decided to relocate the premises to a much larger depot 2 miles away where the company still operates from.

In 2002 AP Broome Landscapes Ltd won a major contract with National Grid Gas, undertaking grounds maintenance to their AGI (above ground installation) sites throughout the north of England. The company took advantage of this opportunity and aimed the business towards grounds maintenance of hazardous installations.

Since then AP Broome Landscapes Ltd has continued to grow, doubling in size in 2008 and again in 2009. Over the years we have gained all the ISO accreditations and won many contracts with a variety of different clients, undertaking all types of grounds maintenance and landscaping works in all areas of the UK.
