General information

I am a local Artist trying to show the world (well atleast Amarillo/canyon area) my artwork. I have done charcoal and pencil drawing for the past 20 yrs and have dabbled in some light painting off and on, but I just could not ever get the artpiece to where I imagined it so I started playing with different types of art, like sculpting, pottery, designing, and always came back to paper or canvas. So I began to experiment with different types of canvas and mediums. I have found a new passion for reclaimed mixed-media art. I just love all types of art and want to share my unique work with the world. (DO NOT ATTEMPT some of these techniques at home. they can and will become harmful to you r heath and you may be injured) I have and will use some of the most unlikely items and materials to start and finish my artwork. some of the items i used in the artwork are purses, curtains, a leather boot, real and fake roses, & a plastic lid,a pair of handcuffs, to name just a few. several works of art I have used a handheld propane torch throughout the creation process. I have set a few on fire at the end the creation process and decided it was complete. (DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HOME)!!! if I get an idea in my mind I will search far & wide until I find that piece if I am unable to make it by hand, that I am looking for. I have cut, burnt, smashed, punctured almost every limb and every finger 5 times each got a few toes and my head several times. I have had a few ER trips due to my works of art and numerous sleepless nights to get it just right. Most of my finished pieces were never intended to end up as they do..i have scraped a few when they were so close to being finished because it was not as I saw it when I knew where I was going with each one. I enjoy doing it all and just wish there was 10 more of me and 5 x's the hours in a day to create so much more.
.All my hand made Home Decor and Furnishings are re-purposed from items that have been broken or no longer being used or just bought to change into something else.
I do the Above mentioned dimensional artwork, repurposed décor and furnishings. I also make personalized gift arrangements and customized "awareness" key chains, bracelets and crosses. which can all be ordered without the "awareness" ribbon as well. key chains and bracelets are $13 with $1 going to cancer research, in honor and memory of my late sister who battled ovarian cancer.
All the work in photos are for sell, or have been sold or available for custom orders. I have a display case at the Nat on 6th and Georgia vendor #512 with my handmade zombie heads on display along with my "awareness bracelets and key chains and wooden crosses, Please enjoy my work.
