Townsend accomplishes this through an intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment program that will help patients to reach recovery and its maintenance through a chronic disease management plan.

Townsend’s outpatient program is a true alternative to inpatient treatment, giving patients the opportunity to recover from addiction without leaving their family or job. Most Townsend programs are in the evening, with some day-time availability, and are designed for the busy student or professional.
