Divine Care Ministries

General information

Divine Care Ministry, founded by Peter and Phoebe Sozi in Kampala, Uganda, is an organization that began in the late 1900’s. Our vision is to identify with the hurting, specifically the orphaned children, the sick, and the widows. Since we’ve started, we have had the opportunity to acquire two schools, build several houses for the orphans, and establish a medical and dental clinic for the community on the school property.

By God's grace and divine provision, the child sponsorship program has grown to support up to 1,500 children through the various sponsors who have partnered with this ministry to reach these young lives. After Primary School, the sponsored children are supported to find secondary schools and Universities or tertiary institutions to further their education and shape careers.

Many have joined us in the support of our brothers and sisters in the Church in Uganda. New sponsors have been added, and more children have been helped as a result. Our slogan is “Together, we make a difference" and we are seeing the fruit of our commitment. We invite all others to join in; there is plenty of opportunity remaining.
