In 1981, a few years after we moved in, we were in need of a new well. We arranged to have Goold Well Contractor drill the well and only later learned that they were direct descendants of the original owner of our home! The friendly professionals at Goold Well Contractor have the knowledge and experience to install a new clean and safe well on your property. From start to finish, we'll be there to provide you with an expert installation. Goold Well Contractor was founded in 1928 by W. Gordon Goold and his brother. The company later became Gordon's own business and is currently managed by two of his children and three of his grandchildren. Hydrofracturing, now also known as hydrofracking, was originally developed to increase oil and gas well production. It has now been adopted as a technique by the water well industry because it's so effective. First, all pipes, wires, and the pump need to be removed from the well. Then, we lower down one or two inflatable hard rubber sleeves, called packers, which are then inflated to seal off a section of the well.
