In 2015, just a few months after the passing of our grandfather, our family gathered together to decorate for our first Christmas without the influential patriarch. Our grandfather, Ronald Patrick Haley, always loved decorating for Christmas; and as you can imagine, gathered quite a collection throughout the years. Our grandmother decided that it was finally time to go through and get rid of the, let's call them "less meaningful items." As we dug through dry rot tissue paper and broken ornaments, family members trickled off to hang lights, build trees and set up nativity scenes. Until Tiffany and Haley found themselves alone, sorting items into the classic "keep," "trash" and "donate" piles. While Tiffany and Haley liked the process of bringing order to the chaos of 56 years of Christmas decorations, the real reward was allowing their family to turn a daunting task into a wonderful walk down memory lane. As they were sorting through their grandfather's cherished Christmas decorations, New Orleans Geaux to Girls was born. It was there they decided they wanted to help other families through the grieving process by donating and selling their "less meaningful items". With the help of their family their services begin to expand to include everything a home needs to be sold.
