Rocky Mountain Fire provides a wide range of emergency response and
community services to approximately 30,000 residents over 65 square miles,
including the communities of Superior, Eldorado Springs, Marshall,
Flagstaff, and unincorporated Boulder County. Serving a diverse mix of
industrial, commercial, residential, and wildland areas with elevations
ranging from 5200-8500 feet, Rocky Mountain Fire staffs a minimum of 12
firefighters and paramedics daily around the clock at four stations. Rocky
Mountain Fire provides services such as FIRE PROTECTION/PROPERTY
CONSERVATION, TRAFFIC ACCIDENT RESPONSE, PARAMEDIC and EMERGENCY MEDICAL
RESPONSE, ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT, TRANSPORT AMBULANCE, TECHNICAL RESCUE,
PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE SCHOOLS, FREE USE OF COMMUNITY ROOMS, FIRE STATION
BIRTHDAY PARTIES, HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY RESPONSE, FIRE and LIFE
SAFETY BUSINESS INSPECTIONS, CAR SEAT SAFETY CHECKS and INSTALLATIONS,
WILDLAND FIRE CREW, WILDLAND MITIGATION SERVICES, COMMUNITY CPR AND FIRST
AID COURSES, FIRE INVESTIGATIONS, MUTUAL AID TO NEIGHBORING DISTRICTS,
EMERGENCY INCIDENT MANAGEMENT FOR LARGE­ SCALE INCIDENTS SUCH AS THE 2012
